Smita Chandra, is an experienced Intellectual Property Strategist, specializing in Intellectual Property Enforcement and Prosecution. She practices and regularly appears before various courts, tribunals and judicial fora across a wide variety of subject matter ranging from intellectual property, competition / antitrust law, contractual disputes, consumer cases, etc.

In her IP Practice, she routinely assists clients in building intellectual property enforcement strategies and has successfully concluded dispute negotiations for prominent clients. She conducts enforcement actions such as sending cease and desist cum demand letters, on -site investigations, registering marks and copyright work with custom authorities to prevent import of pirated/ infringing products, sending notices to internet service providers (ISP’s), etc.

She has also assisted several clients with brand availability opinions, drafting and vetting of privacy policies, terms of use, non-disclosure agreements, software licensing agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Franchise Agreements, etc.
