CGPDTM issues Public Notice allowing Filing of Oppositions against Trademarks published during Covid-19 period till May 30, 2022
The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM), Mumbai has issued a public notice on March 28, 2022 allowing filing of oppositions against any trademark published in the Trademark Journal dated November 18, 2019 to January 24, 2022.
This notice enables any interested party to file an opposition against trademarks which were advertised during the above mentioned period irrespective of the status of the application whether registered / opposed / accepted & advertised / advertised before acceptance.
The interested parties can file an opposition till May 30, 2022 either through Post or by submitting the same at the Registry.
